Scott Mingus Speaks at April Meeting
The Round Table's April 9 speaker was author Scott Mingus, whose presentation was entitled "Unceasing Fury." Scott spoke in on the Texans' role in the Battle Chickamauga and provided a fine overview of the entire battle.
Our May 14 speaker wil be Barton Myers, whose topic will be "Lincoln’s Southern Commanders." Please register via the pay button to the left.

The Atlanta Civil War Round Table is pleased to announce that it has
chosen D. Scott Hartwig as the winner of the 2024 Richard Barksdale
Harwell Award for his I Dread the Thought of the Place: The
Battle of Antietam and the End of the Maryland Campaign. The
Round Table presents the Harwell Award annually for the best book on
a Civil War subject published in the previous year. The Round Table
has presented this prize each year since 1989.
WE'RE MOVING
Starting in September, the Round Table will hold its monthly meetings at the Atlanta History Center. After surveying the members and considering the various options, the Executive Committee determined that the History Center is most convenient for our members and will enable us to provide you the best experience at a lower price than we are currently charged. We will send more information as the date of the change approaches.
The February meeting was Presidents Night, the annual event at which the Round Table recognizes all the past presidents. Pictured below are those who attended the February meeting.
